Power 104 has been involved in the community for a number of years. From parades and walks to barbecques and concerts — we’ve been at it all.
Now with our POWER 104 Events Crew we can do even more in the community! We give kids from all over the Central Okanagan an entry level job experience and teach them organizational, management, and customer service skills. If you’re interested in becoming a part of our Events Crew please email your resume and cover letter to us.
Spot us at local markets, fundraisers, and other community gatherings throughout the year. Check out our Tuned In Events Guide to find out which events we’ll be a part of!
Are you a non-profit group looking to get your message out? Apply for an advertising grant through our Community Airtime Award. Each year, the Jim Pattison Broadcast Group awards two non-profit groups in our community a $70,000 advertising grant to be used over a 6-month period.
Power 104 is a huge supporter of Culture in the Community! Check out our webpage for information on local cultural events, PSA’s, and more.
Kids Care is operated as a public service by Power 104 and 1031 Beach Radio and area TD Canada Trust Bank branches. This local organization has raised about $1.4 million in support of children in the Okanagan. Find out how you can get involved!
